How to get to Amboseli national park.

Amboseli national park can be reached through different ways that is either through the road transport or the air transport.

By road transport.

Amboseli national park can be reached from either Nairobi or Mombasa. If you are from Nairobi your African Vacation Safaris guide will use of the two main routes that can be used to access the park. All the routes are in avery good condition and very fast to reach the park. You will access the park through Nairobi through Namanga on Nairo

bi-Arusha road. This is the shortest route and you can reach and enter the park through using Meshanani gate.

Then another route from Mombasa is through using Nairobi-Mombasa road through Emali, then you will enter the park from the south and entering the park through Kimana in Olkelunyiet Gate.

By Air transport.

To reach Amboseli national park by air transport, this is the fastest way to reach the park, this is where you will fly from Nairobi’s Wilson airport to Amboseli Airstrip with the airlines like safari link and Air Kenya, and this takes you approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then if you are coming from Mombasa, there is no direct flight, so you will typically fly to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport first, and then you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for a connecting flight to Amboseli national park, making the total travel time to be around 3 to 4 hours including layovers.
