A 2-day Amboseli is a short but worth rewarding safari for the tourists with short or less days in Nairobi. The safari offers an immersive wildlife experience in Kenya’s popular Amboseli national park, known for its large elephant population and then stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. On a safari the travelers can spot the diverse wildlife including the lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, leopards, wildebeests, hyenas and among others and various bird species including African swamphen, Lesser flamingos, Water thick-knee, Yellow-necked spurfowl, Long-tailed lapwing, Spike-blue whydah, Rufous chatterer and among many others.

Day 1 – Nairobi to Amboseli.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and depart to Amboseli which is about a 4-hour drive from Nairobi with the spectacular views along the way. You will arrive in Amboseli around noon, then check into your lodge/camp, have hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive to spot the park’s spectacular wildlife with the backdrop of the wonderful Mount Kilimanjaro, you will spot the wildlife in the park’s famous tracks that offers you unforgettable safari memories. After the game drive, we will head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner.

Day 2 – Amboseli to Nairobi
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then meet your safari guide and then proceed for game drives around 6:15 AM, this is such impressive to spot the great wildlife that you missed during the previous game drive, this is rewarding spotting the animal species coming from their hidden areas; you will continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp/lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Nairobi to reach by around 3:00 PM with lunch enroute and upon your arrival you will be dropped at your place of convenient that will make your safari come to the end.
